1. Purpose of This Policy

This Refund Policy outlines how EcoBase Hydroseeding Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”) handles refunds and returns for our services and materials.
Our goal is to provide transparency and fairness while maintaining operational integrity and compliance with UK consumer and business law.

We aim to deliver every project to the highest professional and environmental standards. However, due to the nature of our work — involving live materials, custom mixes, and site-specific preparation — certain restrictions apply to refunds.

2. Deposits and Pre-Payments

A 50% deposit is required before work commences to secure your booking, materials, and scheduling.
This deposit covers initial labour allocation, site planning, and procurement of materials specific to your project.

Because these costs are incurred immediately, deposits are non-refundable once mobilisation has begun.
If you wish to postpone your project, we may, at our discretion, hold the deposit as credit toward a future booking within 60 days, subject to availability.

3. Refunds on Materials and Equipment

EcoBase Hydroseeding Ltd cannot provide refunds for:

  • Materials, seed mixes, or equipment that have been opened, prepared, or applied;

  • Custom-formulated hydroseeding blends or soil treatments, which are made to order;

  • Hired or dispatched machinery once delivered to the site.

Refunds are only available for unused and unopened equipment or materials, provided they are returned in their original condition within 14 days of purchase and subject to inspection.

This ensures all materials used on live sites remain safe, compliant, and traceable — protecting both our clients and our environmental standards.

4. Service Cancellations

If a project is cancelled prior to mobilisation, the Client will receive a full refund of any payment made, minus any administrative or preparation costs already incurred.
If a project is cancelled after mobilisation or material preparation, the deposit will be retained to cover those expenses.

In certain cases, we may offer a partial goodwill refund or service credit, depending on the stage of work completed and our ability to reallocate labour or materials.

5. Project Reworks or Adjustments

If you are dissatisfied with the visual outcome or germination performance, our team will review the site conditions and, where appropriate, recommend remedial action.
Re-application or touch-up services may be offered at a reduced rate where the issue is not due to neglect, weather, or soil condition outside our control.

This approach allows us to maintain professional fairness while ensuring long-term satisfaction and site success.

6. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or applicable UK contract law.
We operate fully within UK regulations, ensuring all clients — from developers to private homeowners — are treated lawfully, respectfully, and with professional transparency.
